frequently asked questions
Shipping
How long does it take to receive my curtains?
Because every curtain is made to your exact specifications, production typically takes 7–13 business days. Once completed, your order is shipped and delivery times vary depending on your location and holidays.
Where do you ship?
Right now, we only ship Evernights curtains to the United States (US) and Canada.
How can I track my order?
Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number so you can monitor your package's progress.
Will I have to pay customs duties or import taxes?
No, there are no custom duties to be paid upon receive of your curtains.
Can I change my order after it has been placed?
Since all curtains are custom-made, changes can only be made 30 minutes after placing the order. Please contact us as soon as possible, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request before production begins.
Returns and exchanges
Can I return custom-made curtains?
Because each curtain is made specifically to your chosen measurements, fabric, header style, and configuration, custom orders are generally non-returnable unless there is a manufacturing defect or order error.
What if my curtains arrive damaged?
If your curtains arrive damaged, please contact us within 3 days of delivery and provide photos of the issue. We'll work quickly to resolve the problem.
What if I entered the wrong measurements?
Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements when ordering. We recommend carefully reviewing all dimensions before completing your purchase, as custom-made products cannot be remade or refunded due to measurement errors. Please visit our guide page for information regarding measurements and curtain types.
Can I exchange my curtains for a different size or design?
Because every order is custom-made, exchanges for different sizes, designs, or specifications are not available once production has been completed.
Product care
Can I machine wash my blackout curtains?
Yes. Evernights curtains can be machine washed using a gentle or synthetic fabric cycle with warm water only (30–40°C / 86–104°F). Do not use hot or boiling water, as excessive heat may damage the fabric and blackout lining.
What detergent should I use?
We recommend using a neutral laundry detergent. Avoid strong alkaline detergents, bleach, or products containing harsh chemicals, as they may cause discoloration, fabric damage, or reduced durability. For best results, add a small amount of fabric softener during the rinse cycle to help reduce static electricity.
Can I tumble dry my curtains?
No. Tumble drying is not recommended. Use a low-speed spin cycle (maximum 400 RPM for no more than 1 minute) and hang the curtains to air dry naturally. High-speed spin drying and machine drying may affect the fabric's appearance and performance.
How do I remove wrinkles from my curtains?
The best way to remove wrinkles is with a garment steamer. Gently steam the fabric while the curtains are hanging to achieve a smooth, professional look. Avoid using excessive heat from an iron whenever possible.
My curtains have wrinkles when I open the package. Is this normal?
Yes. Curtains are folded for shipping, and packages can sometimes be compressed or handled roughly during transit, which may cause wrinkles. Simply hang the curtains and allow them to relax for 2–3 days. For best results, use a garment steamer to remove any remaining creases.
